For an immediate employment we are looking for a passionate, skilled and detail-oriented Compliance Officer EMEA to join our compliance team in international headquarter in Luxembourg.

WHAT ARE YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage day-to-day operations of the PM Compliance Program in EMEA
  • Communicate frequently & openly to all subsidiaries in the EMEA region, remaining up to date on changes in local laws and regulations, company policies and any other aspect related to Compliance (e.g. CSRD, EUDR, Supply Chain Act)
  • Steer the reporting on emerging and developing local legal and regulatory changes and update concerned departments.
  • Conduct, monitor, and implement the company’s compliance policies and related standard operating procedures for EMEA subsidiaries.
  • Work with all business units involved in the EMEA operations, acting as trusted advisor in all matters related to Compliance as well as providing assistance, direction and management of all compliance related queries.
  • Offer compliance guidance covering, inter alia, trade compliance and competition law.
  • Collaborate with other departments inside the PM Group and external parties to indicate compliance issues to appropriate existing channels for investigation and resolution.
  • Develop action plans to address compliance issues and implement corrective measures.
  • Draft compliance communications & documents, including legal letters (internal and external).
  • Keep a detailed and extensive documentation of all activities, investigations and cases dealt with.
  • Train and advise employees and business partners on compliance issues.
  • Contribute to promoting a culture of compliance within the organization through ongoing education and communication.

WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Strong relevant academic background (preferably in law or business studies)
  • Several years (3-5 years) of relevant professional experience in the field of ethics & compliance in an international, preferably an industrial company
  • Solid knowledge of the relevant legal and regulatory requirements
  • High level of personal integrity, value orientation and trustworthiness
  • Assertiveness, independent thinking, structured and analytical approach
  • Intellectually curious and eager to learn
  • Good interpersonal skills, curious, proactive, positive, and open
  • Detail-oriented, result-oriented, and entrepreneurial
  • Hands-on mentality, versatile, teamwork oriented
  • Self-starter, able to work without constant supervision
  • Very good presentation and communication skills
  • Excellent spoken and written English skills, any other languages (especially German) will be considered a strong asset.
  • Strong knowledge of the Office suite and all digital tools
